“It all feels equally natural,” says Thomas by phone from New York. “It’s all kind of integrated. If I had to make a choice, I have to say Matchbox Twenty. That’s where I started and we’ve been playing music for 13 years. That feels like home. I still very much rely on those guys a lot.”
