Rob and Kyle

After this morning’s thunder storms it was a major concern to Matchbox Twenty fans as to whether the outdoor gig held by radio station FOX FM Melbourne would still go ahead. Luckily the sky cleared to a beautiful warm and somewhat humid afternoon.

Around 100 radio contest winners were lucky to be treated to an acoustic performance by Rob and Kyle. The guys belted out a mixture of old and new material. For one hour we happily sang along to She’s So Mean, Disease, 3am, Overjoyed, Bent, If You’re Gone, and Put Your Hands Up. The performance consisted of perfect harmony and beautiful guitar work by two professional musicians who had their audience enthralled from beginning to end. A wonderful time was had by all and this special day will never be forgotten. Our hearts swelled with pride and we will remain Matchbox Twenty fans forever.
