Girls Aloud’s Nadine Coyle has been recording with a member of Matchbox 20 for her anticipated debut album – expected to be released in early 2010.

The Irish beauty is the second singer in the band to record solo material (the first being Cheryl Cole, who celebrated a number one single and album recently with ‘Fight For This Love’ and ‘3 Words’, respectively).

And now fans who are signed up to the Girls Aloud’s mailing list, received this message on Nadine’s upcoming record:

“Between now and Christmas, Nadine will travel to Los Angeles, San Francisco, Ireland, New York and back to London to continue working on her new album, working with producers like Kyle Cook of Matchbox 20.”

Coyle recently wrote on her Twitter page: “Not doing any country tracks, but catching up with a great writer at his studio to record the tracks we wrote in NYC. Ireland/London soon.”
