Matchbox Twenty Rock the PBS Soundstage
Many of you will have seen this but I figured it was worth a mention!
In July 2008, in support of their Exile run, the guys stepped out on the PBS ‘Soundstage’ and played a great set. From ‘Long Day’ to ‘Can’t Let You Go’, they covered all the hits. They also offered up acoustic versions of ‘3 AM’, ‘Unwell’ (with Kyle playing the Harp…with a pick) and ‘The Difference’ along with a great alternative version of ‘Real World’.
Although the broadcasted show was a cut down version of the nights actual set, it’s the Broadcast version we have here:
Long Day & Disease
How Far We’ve Come & 3AM (Acoustic)
Unwell (Acoustic) & The Difference (Acoustic)
Real World (Alternative Version) & If You’re Gone
Bent & These Hard Times
Bright Lights/She Came Through The Bathroom Window (Beatles Cover)
